Yesterday we went on a wonderful day hike with five goats, two mini horses, two old dogs , and quite a few humans. We walked through the oak trees and manzanita bushes. It was lovely because the weather was not too hot and we had a slight breeze coming from the ocean. We saw an amazing sight amongst the oak trees  two wild turkey hens and six babies. I have never seen baby turkeys in our area before. It was a spectacular sight for us humans and the goats as well. The goats stared intently at the turkeys as they have never seen them before. The two turkey hens were guiding the babies through the woods allowing them to stop and pick up bugs and seeds. It was a wonderful hike !
