Welcome to B.Iles Harness Company. Our company specializes in quality equipment for working animals.........goats, horses, dogs, and rabbits. My name is Bambi . I started our harness company eight years ago . My family had two milk does and of course to get the milk the does have to be bred and before you know it the kids arrive. We had up to thirty goats at one time all starting from those original two does. At the time we had a small organic farm that raised lavender for fresh cut as well as oil production. Many of the kids that were born from those original two does were wethers ( castrated males) , because we were a working farm the boys had to be useful or they could not stay on the farm . I started working with the wethers in harness by pulling sleds full of lavender , carts and wagons , and pulling discs in the field. One problem I had with the harness I had purchased was there was not a sufficent breeching system on the harness so every time we went up or down a hill the implement  ( cart, wagon, etc..) would have to be held back so it would not run up and hit the harness goat in the back of the leg. I became extremely frustrated with this so I started making my own harness with just a needle and thread because I did not have fancy sewing machines that could sew through heavy duty webbing. Other goat owners saw what I was doing with our goats and soon I invested in a commercial sewing machine and I was building harnesses for other goat enthusiast.  Through the years we have added equipment for horses , dogs and rabbits because we have mini horses, dogs, and rabbits. Everything we make at B.Iles Harness is thoroughly tested by us with our herd of working ( and well loved ) animals.
