Happy winter !! The cold and crisp season is upon us. Winter is a wonderful time here on our small lavender farm. We have been growing lavender for thirty four consecutive years.  The winter season is when we get our rain in our neck of the woods so we are excited to see the winter season begin. 

The goats and horses are always happy for winter because this means fresh green grass to eat . Green grass is a luxury for our area and it is only available for five months of the year. Also our house rabbit Charlotte enjoys the fresh green grass to eat. She also likes to be out in her enclosed day area and roll in the frost covered grass ( we think she is a bit odd but we love her anyway).
